The Nest Health Centre was honoured to welcome Premier Scott Moe for a visit focused on the future of healthcare delivery, innovation, and community-based care in Saskatchewan.

The visit provided an opportunity to showcase The Nest’s unique approach to healthcare, bringing together family medicine, specialist services, allied health professionals, wellness programs, fitness facilities, and community services under one roof. Through this integrated model, The Nest continues to create a patient-centred environment that supports the health and well-being of individuals and families throughout Regina and the surrounding region.

During the visit, Premier Moe met with members of The Nest team and learned more about how collaborative, team-based healthcare can improve patient experiences, enhance access to care, and create stronger health outcomes for communities.

A key focus of the discussion was the role of innovation in shaping the future of healthcare. The Nest was proud to highlight the impact of the Government of Saskatchewan and the Saskatchewan Medical Association’s Innovation Fund, which has helped support the development and implementation of innovative healthcare initiatives within the organization.

Many of the programs and services offered at The Nest have been strengthened through Innovation Fund support, allowing the organization to explore new approaches to patient-centred care while continuing to expand access to healthcare services for the community. These investments demonstrate the value of supporting innovative ideas that can improve healthcare delivery and better meet the needs of Saskatchewan residents.

The visit also provided an opportunity to showcase the continued growth of The Nest’s facilities and services. As demand for accessible healthcare continues to increase, investments in robust healthcare infrastructure and integrated care models are becoming increasingly important to support the long-term health needs of growing communities.

“The support of the Government of Saskatchewan and the Saskatchewan Medical Association’s Innovation Fund has played an important role in helping us advance innovative healthcare solutions,” said Dr. Julia Kapur, Medical Director from The Nest. “We are grateful for the opportunity to demonstrate the positive impact these investments are having on patient care and community health.”

The Nest extends its sincere appreciation to Premier Scott Moe for taking the time to visit, engage with the team, and learn more about the innovative work being done within the organization.

As The Nest continues to grow, its commitment remains the same: delivering accessible, collaborative, and patient-centred healthcare while building a healthier, stronger, and more connected community.
