Collaborative Health is an emerging field, where practitioners from different professions strive to increase capacity for patients and provide accessible care that is responsive to each individual’s needs.
This area of healthcare recognizes the value of bringing together the skills and knowledge of diverse professions in order to improve patient care, in an integrated and cooperative way.
The Nest will be Regina’s largest health centre run by a caring team of healthcare providers, with physicians, nurses, and pharmacists at its core.
The Nest will integrate a multi-faceted well-being approach including hydrotherapy pools, sports medicine, physiotherapy, medical imaging, lab collection, gym, and childcare facilities.
The Nest will continuously engage with the City of Regina and community stakeholders to source alternative funding and partnerships to develop an integrated facility that will further support community needs.
The integrated centre will support industry and communities to commercialize innovation in healthcare through partnerships with not-for-profit organizations and the province’s municipalities.
