Ribbon cutting and grand opening event at Nest Fitness this Saturday Nest Fitness, the first aspect of the larger Nest Health Centre, is hosting a public grand opening event on Saturday, April 1 at 2400 13th Avenue.

REGINA, SK – After many months of planning and revitalization, Regina’s newest downtown fitness centre is hosting its formal grand opening celebration from 12pm-4pm on Saturday, April 1, 2023. Operating since February this year, the new fitness centre has already signed up over 300 members and is growing daily.

“Our final shipment of new equipment arrived earlier this month and it’s been a truly collaborative journey over the past two months to really tailor and tweak our services and classes to suit the needs of the public”, says Neha Jain, Director of Communications for The Nest Health Centre. “We couldn’t be more excited to invite the community this Saturday for a grand opening celebration to tour the centre and hear more about our plans for the rest of the year.”

Part of the celebration will include a ribbon cutting ceremony from 2pm-2:30pm with honoured guest, Mayor Sandra Masters. We invite the media to join in the celebration. The fitness centre is just one aspect of the larger one-stop medical facility that was announced in the Fall of 2022 to be the largest of its kind in Regina. As the former downtown YMCA building continues to undergo extensive revitalization, more services will start to open to the public in the coming months, with the family physician-run clinic being set to open by Winter 2023.
