Cabinet Members Visit The Nest Health Centre
The Nest Health Centre was honored to welcome members of the Saskatchewan Cabinet for a special visit to our facility in Regina. Their visit marked an important moment for our growing wellness community and highlighted the impact of collaborative support in advancing healthcare innovation in the province.
The visit provided an opportunity to showcase the progress made through the support of the Government of Saskatchewan’s Innovation Fund, which has helped The Nest Health Centre continue developing a team-based care facility designed to support the physical, mental, and social well-being of the community.

During their time at The Nest, cabinet members toured the facility and learned more about the integrated approach to health and wellness that brings together fitness services, allied health professionals, and community-centered programs under one roof. The Nest continues to evolve as a place where individuals and families can access comprehensive care in a supportive and welcoming environment.
Our team had the pleasure of welcoming and meeting with the following government leaders:
-
The Honourable Jim Reiter, Deputy Premier & Minister of Finance
-
The Honourable Jeremy Cockrill, Minister of Health
-
The Honourable Lori Carr, MLA for Estevan–Big Muddy and Minister of Mental Health and Addictions, Seniors and Rural and Remote Health
-
The Honourable Eric Schmalz, Minister of Government Relations, Minister Responsible for First Nations, Métis and Northern Affairs, and Minister Responsible for the Provincial Capital Commission
-
Mr. Brad Crassweller, MLA for White City–Qu’Appelle
-
Mr. Kevin Weedmark, MLA for Moosomin–Montmartre
It was a privilege to share the vision of The Nest and the progress that has been made so far. From the fitness centre and wellness programming to the expanding allied health services, the goal remains the same: to create a place where people can come together to pursue healthier lives and stronger connections within the community.
We extend our sincere gratitude to the cabinet members and government representatives for taking the time to visit and for their continued support of initiatives that strengthen healthcare access and community wellness in Saskatchewan.
As The Nest Health Centre continues to grow, we remain committed to building a collaborative, integrated wellness space that serves Regina and surrounding communities for years to come.
